Emulating the classic drum machines of the 1980’s, machine mode gives you the synthetic clap sound found in all electronic music.

The Noise generator helps to add that vital fizzle that is often needed in the top end of a snare sound. It can also be used to augment any part of the frequency spectrum that you feel needs to be fleshed out.

BAPP features an emulation of a real snare drum, achieved through physical modelling. Experiment with these parameters freely to find the body, energy, resonance, and mid-range frequency focus of the snare sound you need for your track.

Often, snare samples contain overtones and artefacts left over from the track or recording they were lifted from. BAPP accommodates this subtle but important aspect of a snare sample’s character by incorporating a library of ancillary sounds to fill out the synthesised sound generators with more organic-sounding grit and chaos.

The effects section of BAPP provides just enough by way of sonic variation to vary the sound, while always remaining within the realms of a snare's character.

BÄPP allows you to save your sounds and interpolate between them to seamlessly morph between your saved preset sounds. This is efficient enough to work in real time and can be automated in Live. Try hooking the interpolation parameter to a MIDI controller and see how you can get a huge range of sounds with just one fader.

BÄPP's randomisation algorithm has been painstakingly crafted to give you usable and exciting snare sounds, ready to use in your track every time you randomise. And if you don’t like what you hear when you’ve hit randomise, simply hit it again or tweak until it sounds legit.

If you love what you hear on a particular generator or FX section, click the little lock symbol in the section you wish to resist randomisation, and it will remain locked when randomise is pressed.
